My Last FM widget is showing updated music to me at home but not at work. Crazy! I am just curious, what do you see as the last song I listen to?

In less then an hour I’ll be out of this office for four days. I love a nice long weekend. It’s going to be a fun busy one too. I am excited to be having my nephew over for a few days and have all kinds of fun stuff planned from fireworks, picnics and swimming to movie watching.
But first I have tomorrow all to my self. I have a couple of small errands I need to run in the morning but nothing else planned. I think while I am out I am going to pick myself up some lunch and curl up with a chick flick in the middle of the day. Once in a while I can just be crazy wild like that.
Fish fear her…
With her new Bass Pro shirt & hat, her very own filled tackle box and an Ugly Stick in hand, my girl is ready to catch the fish!
After spending way too much time searching the web for a good deal on a cheap laptop (that actually works), I found a great deal on a used iBook G3 for Bethany. It was a little more then I wanted to spend but I really wanted to get her some thing she wanted, needed and would be excited about for her 21st birthday. I hope she likes it. No, I hope she LOVES it! I think she will.
It was really hard to find a used one for sale that included all the software, an AC adapter, a working battery and an airport card for under $300.00 by a seller with good feedback. This one has all of that, a 10 GB hard drive which has been wiped clean, a 640 MB memory and it runs Mac OS X. I think I found a great deal at $180.00 and with free shipping. Like I said, it’s still more then I should have spent so if you see a few more paid entries on my site for a while, I am working to pay it off.
I love to cook, when I have the time. When I am working a lot of have a lot going on I hate to spend the money to buy out for dinner when it’s so much healthier and smarter to cook at home. So, lately I have been pulling out my slow cooker and my recipes for crock pots. It so easy to just set up before we leave the house and then return home at the end of a long day to a real dinner. Not some crappy fast food or pizza.
Since learning that not all crock pots and slow cookers are created equal, I now have two. one that does a better job on meats and one that does an outstanding job on soups and stews. I am not sure what I would do with out either one of them. Even my husband is amazed by how good our dinners have been lately. Even when I have been too busy to cook. If you are a busy or hard working mom like myself and haven’t yet discovered this easy way of making a balanced healthy meal every night, then you need to take a minute and check out all the crock pots on http://wize.com/ You’ll be surprised at how little you have to spend to make such a big difference in your family’s eating habits.
I think I am back to being a good doggie momma in Roxy’s eyes. I came home from work early and took her for a nice long walk around the neighborhood before dinner. We even stopped by to visit her boyfriend, Regale, the beagle who lives across the street. Roxy loves it when I walk her up their driveway so the two hounds can touch noses through the fence for a while.
After having both of us home all day yesterday and laying on my lap for all three movies, Roxy cried this morning when I put on my shoes. It was a whimpering sound she usually only makes when I eat ice cream and don’t share it with her. I am sure just like a kid she laid back down on her comfy bed as soon as I walked out the door and was just fine. But it still broke my heart non the less.
