niptuck6-8254 The second half of the lurid plastic-surgery drama’s fifth season gets off to a ridiculously gory and tense start, fleshing out the details of Sean’s (Dylan Walsh) stabbing by obsessed teddy-bear enthusiast Colleen Rose (Sharon Gless) in last February’s cliff-hanger. But once the dust, er, blood settles, a more mature and serious episode emerges.

I think everyone and every business is feeling this “down turn” we are experiencing these days. I think smaller business especially have been hit hard by the low economy. The consumer is doing a lot more shopping around and comparing before spending now then ever before. So, to be able to compete these days a company must have the means to make things as easy as possible and still offer the consumer quality and convenience it is looking for to stay alive. Since more and more people are shopping online and using credit to make ends meet, being able to process credit cards is a must. If you are a business owner who hasn’t does this yet due to a low in working capital now is the time to visit www.onelinecheck.com. You wont be sorry. With over 25 Years of experience serving merchants and a trusted system used by 200,000 + merchants you can’t go wrong. They also offer great customer service and are there to help you around the clock with their award winning, Fast Business Loan, unlike traditional bank loans, this has less stringent requirements, gives you a faster approval, and offers no closing cost or fees. So you have nothing to lose. With all of that said, there is no need to watch your small business disappear because you can’t compete with the larger company’s in these hard times. There is help.

Wishing everyone happiness and peace for the holidays !

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Filled with family, friends, too much food and lots of laughs. Our girls were completely spoiled, even Roxy has been treated like a queen the last couple of days. It’s been so much fun.

I’ve really enjoyed all the extra time with my girls. It’s been a great reminder of just how lucky we really are.

A lot more photos on Flickr.

With less then a month until the return of Nip Tuck for it’s sixth and final season I thought I would share some teaser videos to celebrate.

Some of these videos contain spoilers.

As sad as I am to see this show come to an end, it’s sure going to be a hell of a season!

Here I am messing around with my skins and blogging here again. I just can’t make up mind. Until I do make up my mind, I am not going to do any thing drastic to this site. But then again tomorrow I might just wipe it all out and install Wordpress? Who knows?

Because I have admitted to being such a domain whore a lot of people ask me where I do my purchasing. My answer,
GoDaddy.com!
By far the easiest to use, the best prices and the most reliable. I have purchased 13 out my 15 URL’s through them and have been very happy. I don’t see me going any where else. They even have some really nice offers for hosting, easy to use design and even shopping cart if you are looking to start your own E commerce site. Just check out their outstanding customer service if you have any question if GoDaddy.com is the right place for you.

If owning your own blog domain is something you have have been thinking about, check them out it’s much easier then you think.

I can’t believe another week has gone by and I still have not changed over this site. Between work, home, my other blogs and my Twitter obsession I just haven’t had the time to make the changes I have in mind here. I’ve made a point of making no real plans this weekend so I am hoping to have WP set up and all of my fun idea’s in place. I am really looking forward to getting things moving. I love a new fun project online. This URL has brought me good luck before and has lead me to some great on line friends that I hope to keep along time. I wont be letting it go any time soon.

The last couple of years I have given both sets of grandparents Custom Calendars for Christmas. Let me tell you, that was the best idea I have ever had. They are simple and so much fun to make. I have even been taking photos of the kids all year round with putting together the calendar in mind. They are so loved and give all kinds of smiles and laughs. I fill each month with the happiest and most memorial moments I can find. So, my family really enjoys them. After years of shopping around and trying to decide what to buy for our parents, I now can just spend a few fun minutes on line and be done with it. So, not only are Custom Calendars the best Christmas gift I have ever bought but definitely the easiest. At http://www.vistaprint.com you can find not only calendars but a wide variety of products and fun ideas to give as gifts. Some thing for everyone. With all of the photos I take of our dog, I am thinking of making a fun Foxy Roxy calendar for myself this year. I for sure have to make one for my daughter and fill it with photos of our new granddaughter and pictures of all the first moments she has had over this past year.

I decided what I want to do with this blog. I am going to keep it but change the subject from me to something much more fun. Now, I just need to come up with the time to make this big change. I need to go through my archives, maybe back them up? I need to go through my photos and save any thing I might not have on my computer. Double check to not loose any links. Then I am going to make the change to WP and a whole new Five Dollar Shake !

I am just not feeling this URL any more. It’s paid up for another full year and I have all of these beautiful skins so I am trying to decided just what to do with it. I am not going to just let it all go. I could recode a couple skins for my new blog? I might mess around with the idea of a movie blog here? Seeing how I did come up with Five Dollar Shake from my love for the movie Pulp Fiction. Of course I already have an entertainment blog but it’s much more of T.V. blog. Do I need or really want a movie blog too? Probably not. Just a thought. Maybe my $5 mojo will come back???

Anyway, if you want to follow me over to my new main blog just email me (shakingit(at)gmail.com) or leave me a comment for the URL.

I was just thinking how I can’t believe it’s time to get ready for winter again. We have already pulled down the storm the windows and retracted the screens. Over last weekend I packed up all the summer clothes and pulled out all of our long sleeve shirts. I searched the back of our shoe closet to see which of us will need new boots and who’s still have life left in them. I was the only lucky one! My boots look great from last year but my daughter and husband will need new. I am thinking Gerry will need work boots for sure. He practically lives in them so we’ll be buying him more then one good pair soon. That’s the easy one thanks to http://www.workbootsusa.com . The not so easy one will be our daughter. Nine is not a fun age to shop with. She’ll have to see what the other kids are wearing first, I am sure.

My message, I want to be able to tell my daughters that they be anything they want to be when they grow up. I want to see a woman in the White House so badly but not badly enough to see just any woman there. Not this woman. Please.
