I recently watched an advanced copy of “1 Night” for review. I am a major fan of what I refer to as “story-telling” movies. While several of my friends might describe a movie as slow or uneventful, often I find it comforting and enjoyable. I tend to fall completely invested in the romance or drama movies that I chose to watch. This was one of them. The writing, and directing debut of Minhal Baig has real promise. I adore his style of film-making. Particularly the visual and sound in beginning of 1 Night. So much so, I’m really looking forward to seeing what Baig brings to the screen next. “1 Night” features a small but talented cast, telling a cute, and charming story. A story showing that love can happen anywhere at anytime. Though the movie is not perfect, I found it well worth my time. I really enjoyed it. It was perfect for an evening alone after a long day at work.
