“This is the story of affable underachiever David Wozniak, whose mundane life is turned upside down when he finds out that he fathered 533 children through sperm donations he made twenty years earlier. In debt to the mob, rejected by his pregnant girlfriend, things couldn’t look worse for David when he is hit with a lawsuit from 142 of the 533 twenty-somethings who want to know the identity of the donor. As David struggles to decide whether or not he should reveal his true identity, he embarks on a journey that leads him to discover not only his true self but the father he could become as well.
When I say how much I enjoyed this movie, it’s not because I had the honor of attending the Hollywood red carpet preimere and seeing it along side the cast – honestly, it’s not. Though that was truly exciting, the movie itself is good!
This movie is funny, heartfelt, and pretty touching. Though it has plenty of laugh out loud moments, more powerful are the thinking moments, that tug on your heart. I enjoyed every minute of this movie. Perfectly cast, and filled with great chemistry, the actors each bring something different to the screen. I like that the story really could have gone in a number of directions. I also like that it’s a movie for the whole family. I’m looking forward to seeing it with my family over the Thanksgiving holiday. It’s a great movie to remind yourself and others you never really where life will take you.
One to watch for, Derrick Arthur!
You’ll know him when you see him in the film, and chances are you’ll remember him. Very funny guy.
