Now you can revisit the magic of one of Steven Spielberg’s most beloved family classics, E.T., on Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack with Digital Copy and UltraViolet. Even though I’ve seen this film a number of times over the years, the stunning quality of the digitally remastered version, plus the bonus features made this combo pack feel almost new.
“When an imaginative boy meets a lost alien, it is the beginning of one of cinema’s most endearing friendships, as Elliot helps the marvelous creature he calls E.T. find his way back home before government agents can capture him.”
“A 1982 American science fiction film co-produced and directed by Steven Spielberg, written by Melissa Mathison and starring Henry Thomas, Dee Wallace, Robert MacNaughton, Drew Barrymore, and Peter Coyote”
My family recently viewed E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial Blu-ray Combo Pack as our Family Movie Night feature. It was so much fun. We spent the evening enjoying our favorite pizza, and our favorite company – each other, as we watched the movie. For us parents, we enjoyed reliving the exciting and touching story of E.T., while watching our girls experience it for the first time. As we started the movie, I had some major reservations that a classic story from 1982 might not hold up to the expensive graphics and consistent action of movies today. I was worried the girls might not make it through the movie. I’m happy to say those reservations were quickly put to rest. From the minute Elliot met E.T., the movie was a hit with our girls. I don’t know why I was worried – one look at those big eyes and how could they not fall in love? Making the kids the heroes of the movie was also a big hit.
After the movie we spent a lot of time enjoying the interesting bonus features. A must for any movie fan.
