Of all of the tasty slow-cooker meals I have been making recently, this one might just be my favorite.
Ingredients:
6-8 pieces of chicken (I use wings, legs & thighs)
1 40oz bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce. (I use Sweet Baby Rays)
2 tbs brown sugar
2 tbs chili powder (3 if you want more of a kick)
1 tbs garlic powder
2 tbs ketchup
1 tbs honey
A dish of Salt & Pepper
Directions:
Cover the bottom of the slow-cooker with a generous amount of barbecue sauce.
Trim excess skin and fat from chicken. (I leave a little for flavor)
Place chicken in slow-cooker.
Put a generous amount of barbecue sauce in a medium mixing bowl as a base, and mix in the remaining ingredients.
Pure the mixture on top of chicken.
Cover and cook 2-3 hours on high. No need to stir.
Be prepared for your house to be filled with the aroma of delicious barbecue. Also, be prepared for the chicken to disappear in a lot less time than it took to cook.
Served with roasted sweet potatoes and green beans this made for a beautiful and flavorful meal.
This recipe definitely has a spot on our “Family Favorite” list.

That looks absolutely delicious! My family really enjoys eating BBQ Chicken!
This looks and sounds pretty good. I made something similar recently but it only had the BBQ sauce and some garlic powder. I’ll try yours at some point :).
