Football is not just a sport around here, it’s a season. It’s all about the touchdowns, the scores, and yelling back at the television screen. When it comes to the Big Game, things start to get a little more serious, but also a lot more fun. This year, it is our turn to host friends and family to watch the Big Game. When it comes hosting at our house, I put a lot of thought into preparing. The first thing I do is to shop Walmart for Pre-Game, Game time and Post-Game supplies.
You can never be too prepared to tackle spills, drips, or even odors when you’re planning to have a house full of football fans. I try to buy in bulk, or large packages because you never know what life is going to bring. Also, I hate running out of a necessary product, like paper towels or toilet paper. No one wants to make a store run in the middle of a party. All of these products are equally important on the Big Game Day.
Having three pets, I like to be sure our home is odor free, and ready for company. For that I count on Febreze Air Effects Linen & Sky. Eliminates tough odors rather than covering them up, and leave a nice gentle clean scent.
Our Game Day Traditions include adults acting like teenagers, judging and discussing of commercials (my favorite part of the day), and lot’s and lot’s of good home-cooked food. Like my extra sloppy pulled pork. Slow cooked for ten hours in home-made barbecue sauce. It is delicious! The sloppier the better, so we always have a good napkin or paper towel on hand. For us, we only use Bounty with it’s unique Trap & Lock technology. It tackles the toughest sauce covered fingers and faces, and wins every-time!
For those sloppy messes that make it past the paper towel, and onto my husband’s shirt or pants while he’s looking (or yelling) at the game – we use Tide Pods. They have gotten out even the toughest stains. We have been using Tide Pods for about a year now, and I am still amazed at how well they clean our clothes.
