Godzilla 2000 (1999)
GODZILLA WEARS A TINFOIL HAT. Did you know Godzilla is a UFO believer? Unfortunately, years upon years of reading about alien abduction conspiracies on the internet can’t prepare the King of Monsters for what happens in Godzilla 2000….When a UFO is awoken from a million-year slumber deep in the Earth’s crust, it employs a series of sneaky tactics (gene-snatching, reckless driving, and more) to give Godzilla a real extraterrestrial beat-down.
Saturday, September 23 at 4P/3C
and Friday, September 30 at 5P/4C
Godzilla movies were a big part of my early childhood. I can remember sitting in my brother’s bedroom, playing with Godzilla toys while watching late night sci-fi on a small black and white television. Those are some great memories, and because of that, I will always love Godzilla.
I was recently so excited to receive my own Limited Edition Godzilla Action Figure from COMET TV, that I decided he had to join us for a road trip to visit family over the Labor Day weekend. I’d like to say that he behaved, but if you know Godzilla, you’re not surprised to hear that things at times got a little out of hand. Plus, do to his extreme appetite, I had to keep a close eye on him, as wanted to eat all the food, from our car snacks to climbing the bird feeder, he was into everything.
Turns out Godzilla is one heck of a card player. As for swimming, not so much. I had to pull him off of the diving board more than once. Bad Godzilla, you sink, you don’t swim. Geesh. But it’s okay, I still love you.
Are you a Godzilla fan? COMET TV is a great place to get your Godzilla fix.
