I was recently invited to enjoy a stay at Castaway Bay as part of a blogger event weekend. If you follow me on Twitter – you’ve probably heard all about it! With my husband not able to attend, I took the opportunity to create a fun mother/ daughter “girls” weekend.
The event was very well put together. It was nice to see and meet so many local bloggers and their families. As well as the Castaway Bay team members, who were super generous with their time and efforts. We had the opportunity to try a lot of what the hotel has to offer. Arts and crafts, cookie decorating, and plenty of fun time with Snoopy and his friends!
We had a great time! It was time spent together that we wont soon forget. From the two hour car ride, to a nice breakfast in the morning, Castaway Bay is a fun indoor vacation for all ages. My girls are thirteen and twenty five, and enjoyed every minute of our trip. In-fact plans to return are already in the works.
Check out the beautiful view we enjoyed over breakfast.
Even though there is a lot of other things to do at Castaway Bay, the centerpiece of the hotel is of course it’s elaborate enclosed waterpark! With a five-story structure featuring a vaulted wood ceiling that covers a natural setting of palm trees, huts, inland lagoons and plenty of wet and wild water adventure.
With the massive slides, and wave pool – we really like that Castaway Bay has a lot more to offer older kids than some of the other indoor water parks. Also, the huge indoor/outdoor jacuzzi with relaxing waterfall was no heart-ship on this mom!
Need help beating the winter blues? Well, Castaway Bay is the perfect place for that! I have the pleasure of giving away four water park day passes to Castaway Bay – a $116 value!
