For some time now I have been working hard to make more earth friendly choices. To help my family live more “green” and to feel good about it. Once I started really making these choices I realized they are everywhere. There are a lot more choices then just paper over plastic. One choice my family has made recently is to try out a Bricor Shower head that actually reduces our water usage with out reducing the quality of our showering experience. How does that work? Let me try to explain for you – water enters a vacuum flow booster valve where it is aerated and compacted under pressure. Due to the intense force of the vacuum chamber, the aerated water explodes as it exits the shower head, creating a powerful shower stream at a very low flow rate. So you end up enjoying the same if not a better flow rate in your shower yet you’re conserving water at the same time. Sounds like the right choice to me! But really, other than the amazing new technology, how is it’s performance? To be honest we had some doubts when we first felt how light weight the shower head actually is but my family has been using a Bricor hand held shower head daily for over a month now and loving it. We have zero complaints. Our shower takes a beating too. Runs at least three to four times a day, so knowing we can conserve some of that water really means a lot to me. I have to also mention that the shower head was quick and easy for my husband to install. That was another concern when shopping, some times newer technology can mean a more difficult set up. That was not the case at all. It was no different than install any other shower head.
Here are a few key points from the Bricor web site:
1. Improves Shower Performance – The force of the vacuum booster valve increases the shower stream flow impact intensity by 1.75x over other conventional low-flow shower streams.
2. Saves Water and Energy – By reducing the consumption of hot water, our patented aeration technology significantly lowers gas and water expenses as well as electrical costs for pumping. Effluent costs are also reduced. Choosing 1.25 or less saves the most water, energy and money.
3. Helps Solve Low Pressure Problems -
The powerful release from the vacuum chamber creates a pressure boosting effect that counters the weak flow stream that accompanies low water pressure (from 9 psi on up)
The nice people at Bricor would like to offer my readers a $10.00 savings when shopping Bricor.com! All you need to do is ask for the $10 off deal and mention $5 shakes and you’ll receive $10.00 off any shower head or product that is $39.95 or greater. This promotion excludes their EcoFIT shower head and aerators.
I was provided with free products by Bricor for the purpose of writing this review. No type of monetary compensation was received. The opinions expressed are all mine.

Wow! I’m going to have to ask my husband about this. We are remodeling our first house (from 1889), and it would be great to save water and still get a powerful shower!
I bought a 1 gallon per minute shower head from Bricor for me and my family. I thought that it would not make that much of a difference but I am saving over $50 a month in water bills and energy bills. The shower head works really well in my opinion and I think I spend an extra few minutes in the shower now cause the water does not go cold. If you are looking for an easy way to save money this shower head is for you.

Mike – thank you for taking the time to leave your comment.
We’ve had ours for five months now and still love it as much as when I wrote this review.
