A Day With My Nieces

I pretty much spent the entire day yesterday offline. A rarity for me these days. It was nice to get outside and enjoy the fall weather. Fall is my favorite of the four seasons, and it seems to go by way too fast each year. I was lucky to also have my two beautiful nieces over to spend the day with me.

We colored in a giant coloring book, they helped me make pigs in-a blanket for lunch, we took the dog the park and we also played with Play-Doh. These girls take their Play-Doh very seriously. It was a great way to spend my day offline and build some fun memories with family. I think we all three had a great time. Four if you count Roxy, our basset hound who was happy to be involved in every part of the day.

I love the family my niece made of Play-Doh, because isn’t that what it’s all about – family?

How about you, what are some of your favorite ways to spend a day offline?

I love hanging out with my kids when I’m off line doing simple things like having long cuddles, watching movies, playing makeover.

Sounds like the perfect kind of day! I have to admit that Play Dough and coloring are two of my all time favorite things to do with children and even without them.

Spending time with my family is what I like to do when I’m offline. If I get some time alone, it’s shopping or getting my hair done.
