Don’t look so worried! Mom’s on it! I’ll whip-up a list of treats for the whole family and make a trip to Walmart. I’m also taking with me a list of puppy items we can donate to our local animal shelter. Donating a doggie gift basket will be a great way to start the new year!
Walmart makes it easy to shop for everyone at one location. I just need to remind myself to stick to the list as I walk past all these fun temptations -

While filling the cart with Roxy’s favorites I found some great donation items for our doggie gift basket! Milk-Bone® Puppy, a collar and leash set, puppy shampoo, puppy toys, dishes, and a doggie blanket. Also, probably the most important of puppy items – carpet stain and odor remover! I think I forgot how fun it is to shop for a puppy.
As I headed to the check-out I found my cart collected all kinds of goodies for the whole family. Honestly, sticking to the list is over overrated! I found some great after Christmas deals!

That’s so wonderful that you donate to the animal shelter. We try to donate a couple bags of kitten food and dog food each month. May they all find forever homes.

Oh, I wish I would have thought to go to Walmart! I just shopped for our new puppy at a major pet store and paid a lot more than I would have at Walmart. I’ll have to keep that in mind next time! Thanks for the post
