Trailer Park Tuesday “Take This Waltz”

When Margot (Michelle Williams), 28, meets Daniel (Luke Kirby), their chemistry is intense and immediate. But Margot suppresses her sudden attraction; she is happily married to Lou (Seth Rogen), a cookbook writer. When she learns that Daniel lives across the street from them, the certainty about her domestic life shatters. She and Daniel steal moments throughout the steaming Toronto summer, their eroticism heightened by their restraint. Swelteringly hot, bright and colorful like a bowl of fruit, TAKE THIS WALTZ leads us, laughing, through the familiar, but uncharted question of what long-term relationships do to love, sex, and our images of ourselves.

Director: Sarah Polley

Cast: Michelle Williams, Seth Rogen, Luke Kirby, Sarah Silverman, Jennifer Podemski, Diane D’Aquila, Graham Abbey

In theaters: June 29th, 2012

Take This Waltz debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2011. The project is set for a June 29, 2012 theatrical release via Magnolia Pictures, but will be available on VOD beginning May 25, 2012!

Worried of a limit release I will probably watch this movie on VOD when it becomes available. It looks sad, heartbreaking actually, and very well made. I’m looking forward to it.

I will watch the trailer after work, but just based on the description it sounds good! Though I don’t really buy Michelle Williams married to Seth Rogen … lol.

Wait until you watch the trailer! I think they have great chemistry and are totally believable as husband and wife.
