Motorola Droid Xyboard Made Our Travel Fun! #VZWSS

We recently spent a three day weekend up north. As much as we love it up there, the five hour drive can sometimes be a drag. Not this time. Running on Verizon’s amazing 4G LTE network, we were able to enjoy listening to our favorite music app on the Motorola Droid Xyboard! Even in those real rural areas of farmland we were able to keep the music going, without ever missing a beat on Verizon’s 3G. This to me is pretty impressive, seeing how we had no cell service from another provider. Score #1 for Verizon!

Even though I was on vacation, having 3G service on the Xyboard while in the campground was nice. It not only aloud me to check in virtual with our daughter, but it was nice to be able to stay on top of my email. There is not much worse than coming home from a vacation and having to spend hours trying to catch up. I often need a vacation, just from catching up after my vacation. Not this time!

Below are a few up north photos taken at Presque Isle, over looking beautiful Lake Huron. These photos were taken with my Xyboard, all at places I was surprised and impressed to be receiving Verizon’s fast 3G service.

More worth mentioning ways the Motorola Droid Xyboard added to our weekend:

Mobile Hotspot!
I was able to hook my husband up with fast internet on his phone while we relaxed by the water.

Complete access.
We used online maps, online listings and looked up local festivals while on the road. We were also able to find church service times for my parents.

The Camera.
With 5 MP & amazing focus and zoom features, I literally took over a hundred fun photos of our trip.

When everyone else was asleep, I was able to sit outside under the stars and finish a movie I started days before we left. This was a nice way to end a great day.

Disclosure: I am participating in the Verizon Wireless Midwest Savvy Savers program and have been provided with a wireless device and six months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product.
