The 2013 Kia Sorento Review

We recently spent a fun family weekend at an in-door water park, a few hours away from home. We had such a good time. Even though the weekend was spent focusing on entertaining the girls, the time spent on the road driving a 2013 Kia Sorento was no heart-ship for us as parents. The 2013 Sorento offers plenty of room, and is packed with modern technology, and features that make everyday driving fun. It’s no surprise to me that this is Kia’s first vehicle to sell more than 100,000 units in a single year.

As you can see, the 2013 Kia Sorento can pack a ton of fun! We really enjoyed the easy access. Being on the road for hours at a time with kids, this was a great convenience.

The Kia Sorento makes me a better a driver!

Change is not always easy for me. I drive a mid-size car, so when I saw this vehicle to review was an SUV, I was a bit apprehensive. Pleasantly surprised, the 2013 Kia Sorento was extremely easy and comfortable for me to drive. In-fact I felt sitting a little higher off the ground, gave me a much safer perspective and more confidence while on the road. I also found myself reassured by the size and placement of the mirrors, and rear view camera. The drivers seat was really comfortable, and if heated seats are an option when I purchase my next vehicle, this will be done! As will the keyless entry and push button start. Being a busy working mom, that often juggles a purse, a bag, and several other items at once – this feature is a real luxury. Speaking of luxury, my family agrees that we love the Panoramic sunroof! Opened just a crack or all the way to enjoy a nice full breeze, put us in a good mood each evening on our way home. This is another option on my “must have” list.

Packed with newer technology under the hood, I was expecting a little better of gas millage than I experienced. I also felt the ride was a little rough at times. Both of which could just be that I’m use to driving a car, and not an SUV. Neither of them were to the extreme of complaint. I would definitely recommend the 2013 Kia Sorento as a great family vehicle. I know it would be a great fit for ours!
