Family-friendly Live Shows at Cedar Point

Cedar Point’s electrifying nighttime show is back with an all-new lineup of music, dancing and a dazzling display of pyrotechnics!

“Luminosity,” amplified by North Coast Container and fueled by Marathon, made its official debut on Friday, June 7, 2013, in Cedar Point’s Celebration Plaza. The show takes visitors on a musical road trip across the country, capturing the regional flavor of the East Coast, West Coast and everything in between. There are plenty of surprises along the way to delight all your senses. When the show ends, the dance party begins with a live D.J. The show starts at 9:30 every night except Tuesday and runs through Aug. 18.

“Luminosity” is just one of nine family-friendly shows that round out the world-class entertainment at Cedar Point. New this year is “On Broadway,” an array of classic show tunes from the past and present that debuts this weekend at the Jack Aldrich Theatre.

Families won’t want to miss Snoopy and his pals starring in “Happiness Is … Snoopy,” a celebration on ice in the Good Time Theatre or “Snoopy’s Sing-A-Long” and “Charlie Brown’s Funtime Frolics” at Camp Snoopy. Guests can also catch the whole PEANUTS™ gang at 5 p.m. each day in Celebration Plaza.

We really enjoyed Snoopy’s celebration on ice while visiting Cedar Point a few years ago with our daughter and nephew. It was a great show, and a fun way to cool down and relax without leaving the park.
