A while back I shared some tips and information from a new consumer education and industry watchdog program called MOM – Motor Oil Matters. My post included the below suggested checklist.
I recently took a copy of the above check list to my local oil change garage. The maniac that was working could not have been more friendly. He answered all of my questions, and for the first time showed me the labels on the oil bottles before pouring them into my car. Hearing him explain to me what he was doing, as he was doing it, was a refreshing change.
Now that my car has passed the checklist and running great, I should be set for another six months.
