UP is a system that takes a holistic approach to a healthy lifestyle.

  •  The wristband tracks your movement and sleep in the background.
  •  The app displays your data, lets you add things like meals and mood, and delivers insights that keep you moving forward.

I recently received The Jawbone UP to review for Best Buy. It’s unlike any other steps I’ve made to better my quality of health. It fits very comfortable on my wrist. So comfortable, I often forget that I’m wearing it. I also like that it is water-resistant to 3.3 feet, because I pretty much wear mime 24/7.

The Up does a great job of tracking my daily activities – much better than my memory some days. It’s also very easy to monitor. This device plugs in through the headphone jack on a smartphone and syncs it’s information. Simple! And the app is full of details, which I’ve been using to improve my daily routine. Amazing really.

My only issue with the devise is that I wish it held more data. It would be nice if it held several days at once. Besides that one minor detail, I find the UP an amazing tool in my steps to create a healthier lifestyle for myself, and for my family.

Other Jawbone features:

  • 10-day battery life
  • Syncs with your iPhone or Android
  • Available in various colors and size options
  • Can be used in almost any weather conditions

The Jawbone Up would make a great holiday gift this year, and can be purchased now at your local Best Buy for around $130.00.

I bought a fitbit because it did all of those things, but I forget to clip it on until halfway through my day and I am always worried I will forget to take it off and wash it. Fitbit makes one in a bracelet like that…. maybe I should trade for that style….

I wish you were doing a giveaway for this 🙂 I’m so curious to see my sleeping habits. Other than that, though, I have a FitBit, and I usually remember to clip it on. I did lose it once because it fell off my jeans but luckily the store I went to had found it. 🙂

  3. I have never heard of this until your review. Interesting.
