Walk to End Alzheimer’s 2014 #Detroit

The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions.

This event is personal to me, as my family has in the past and is currently dealing with the effects of Alzheimer’s. It’s beyond heartbreaking.

Join me at the Detroit Walk to End Alzheimer’s Saturday, August 23 at Ford Field.

Not in Michigan? Visit the Walk to End Alzheimer’s website to donate, or find a walk nearest you.

Together we can make a difference!

  1. Karen Glatt says:

This is such a good cause to help and support. Alzheimer’s has become so widespread and my Dad has dementia and he is 84. I can see his dementia getting worse. He is on medication. I should look for a walk where I live.

  2. Robin Wilson says:

Thanks for helping to spread the word! I too have lost several family and friends to this awful disease. I do so wish that they would find a cure or at least more treatment options. But it has come a long way thanks to fundraisers like this!

What a worthy cause! My uncle had this disease and it was so hard to see him decline before he died.
