Stay hydrated with DripDrop #drinkdripdrop @SheSpeaksUp #spon #review

The importance of staying hydrated is nothing new in our family. Our teenage daughter struggles with Vasovagal syncope, and a major side effect of this condition is that her body has trouble absorbing sodium. Which she corrects on a daily basis with a larger in-take of salt, and by drinking a LOT of water, with electrolytes. This also makes it much easier for her to become dehydrated than most people. Like when she is sick. While fighting any kind of virus, like the flu, it becomes a major issue. So, we are always on the lookout for new drinks to help her stay hydrated when needed.

I recently received two boxes of DripDrop for review.

Developed by a Mayo Clinic-trained family physician, DripDrop contains a proven ratio of ingredients – including sodium, sugars and potassium –which absorb quickly and help you recover faster than any other hydration product on the market. In fact, DripDrop has been shown to hydrate 34% faster than water alone, and 20% faster than pediatric solutions and sports drinks.

This review came to me at just the right time. While I was on the tail-end of a month long battle with pneumonia. It was a very long month, that left me really weak. The DripDrop helped me get back on feet. I’m sure of it. I mixed a container of the lemon flavor and kept it handy around the clock. The taste was not bad. Also impressive was how easy it mixed, with no clumps. Because when you’re sick and feeling tired, it’s the little things that matter.

My husband, a fan of sports drinks also gave DripDrop a try. His preferred flavor is the berry. Though he says DripDrop wont be replacing his sports drink habit, it is something we’re happy to have in our medicine cabinet for the next time one of us sick and needs the help to stay hydrated.
