7 Things on Sunday #XFINITYreviewer

This week I’m listing seven ways my Xfinity X1 service made my recent trip to LA more enjoyable.

01. The Xfinity TV GO app!
I had a 90 minute wait at the airport. I was able to pass the time by watching recent episodes of two of my favorite shows (Nashville, Grey’s Anatomy).

02. XFINITY On Demand app (Purchases)
I was able to purchase a movie on my tablet, and watch it during my flight, without paying for WiFi.

03. I used the The Xfinity TV GO app to log in and pick up where I left off on my DVR list. This was nice late at night in my hotel room.

04. While talking about our favorite television series, I was also able to add a few series to my DVR list right on my phone. Which was nice, because by the time I got home, I never would have remembered their recommendations.

05. XFINITY WiFi (hot spots)
We were on the road a lot while in LA. I was able to do a quick search and connect within a minute to several different Xfinity Hot Spots, this saved me from using all of cell data. A real life saver!

06. As part of our trip experience we were asked to be up to date on the television series that we were there to promote. Thanks to the Xfinity app being on my tablet, I was able to watch it On Demand over breakfast in bed.

07. XFINITY Connect app
I was able to use this app to connect to our home phone service via the internet, and text and call my husband when there was no cell service. This happened more than once while I was in our hotel lobby, and restaurant. Made my life so much easier.

Such a convenience, really cool how you can do things from your phone and I love the hot spots, since your not using your phone data!

  2. I just downloaded the GO app! I didn’t realize how this worked before. I like to watch my shows on the treadmill on my iPad so this is perfect.

  3. I have the app but I never get on it! Maybe I should!

  4. Love the convenience that Xfinity offers. We have UVerse and I’m looking to switch. May have to see if Xfinity is offered in my area.

I’ll admit that Xfinity is pretty neat. I’m not really a big tv fan and such, but I would be sad if Xfinity went down for a few days:)

  6. Seems like Xfinity has a lot to offer. We don’t have cable though—one way we cut costs from our budget.

Pretty cool. I hadn’t heard of this app.
