Olympia Entertainment is bringing fun family live shows to Detroit this fall #Detroit

Olympia Entertainment is a sports and live entertainment company headquartered in the Fox Theatre in Downtown Detroit, Michigan. They’ve been around since the late 1920’s, so when it comes to entertainment, their name is one families can really trust. Olympia Entertainment recently released the titles of four exciting live family shows coming to Detroit this fall.

Brought to life by a full orchestra performing all new arrangements and carefully timed visuals from recent and classic Pokémon video games, Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions has become the must-see video game concert of the year, giving fans and newcomers of all ages a chance to experience the evolution of the Pokémon franchise like never before.

Joined on stage by their lovable friends Dorothy the Dinosaur, Captain Feathersword, Wags the Dog and Henry the Octopus, founding member Anthony Field (Blue Wiggle), Emma Watkins (Yellow Wiggle), Simon Pryce (Red Wiggle) and Lachlan Gillespie (Purple Wiggle) can’t wait to deliver a rocking good time for their audiences. “The Rock & Roll Preschool” tour will include their wiggly favorites and new music from the Rock & Roll Preschool album. Kids will shake to “That’s the Sound of Rock & Roll”, rise and shine with “Wake Up!”, and be the coolest kid in preschool with “I Want a Leather Jacket”.

Based on the characters from the hit Twentieth Century Fox movies, the show will bring the music and excitement of a live rock concert to life as the Chipmunks perform hits by One Direction, Maroon 5, Christine Aguilera, Elvis Presley and more! Join Alvin, Simon and Theodore as they sing and dance their way across America en route to their big charity concert. From an “old school” breakdancing competition in Chicago, to a no- holds-barred food fight in New York City, and with the Chipettes along for the wild ride, Chipmunk fans from coast to coast will experience it all –LIVE on stage!

Fancy Nancy: Splendiferous Christmas is based on the New York Times bestselling picture book by Jane O’Connor and illustrated by Robin Preiss Glasser, with book by Cara Lustik, lyrics by Matthew Hardy, music by Randy Klein, and directed and choreographed by Sam Viverito. The production was commissioned and originally produced by Vital Theatre Company.

    I had heard about that Pokemon show, it sounded pretty fun! I used to play Pokemon on my Game Boy Pocket (back in the day, lol) and spend a lot of time doing that.
