7 Things on Sunday

Seven things I’ve done over the past seven days.

MothersDay_OV_poster_HR_web

1.Enjoyed having both granddaughters over for a night.
2.Made a homemade turkey pot pie.
3.Turned 46. Putting me closer to 50, than 40. Yikes! How’d that happen?
4.Took my daughter for her road test. She passed, look out!
5.Went to bed before 7:00pm with a sinus headache. Still hurts.
6.Enjoyed an afternoon movie with my mom and daughter. We saw Mother’s Day.
7.Ordered a new round camping chair for our basset hound. Roxy loves to sit by a campfire.

I thought your mom was in FL? (is she visiting?) And did you like the movie?

    Happy belated birthday :).

My parents are both remarried. My dad and step mom live in Florida half the year, coming back in just a few weeks. My mom and step dad live downriver. 🙂
I’m blessed with four wonderful parents.

Yes, we enjoyed the movie. It’s not going to win any Oscars, but it was what we expected.

  2. I’d like to see “Mother’s Day.” Maybe I’ll take my mom and grandma to the movies next weekend!

I’m right behind you. I turn 45 this Saturday. How did you like Mothers Day? I saw some reviews that weren’t so kind.

Happy early birthday Rachel! You know the 40’s is the new 20’s.

The movie was okay. The writing was not very good, but the overall story was cute, and enjoyable. Pretty much what we expected. It’s not going to win any Oscars, but we enjoyed our girls afternoon out..

  4. Happy Birthday. I will be 41 this year. Do I keep wondering where did the time go? Aging is weird!
