Roasted Pork Loin Recipe & The Spice Lab Review

We try to cook most of our meals at home. It’s more cost-efficient than going out, it’s healthier, and we tend to spend more time together while in the kitchen, and around the table. Having a teenage daughter that is vegan can also limit our restaurant choices.

We recently received the above group of products from The Spice Lab to review. Though, I haven’t had the chance as of yet to try very many of them, our daughter has. She does a lot of the cooking, and has been using the salts regulatory. The Himalayan Crystal Salt (pink salt) is her favorite. I have also received great feedback on the Cherry Blossom Infused Black Tea. I am not a tea drinker, but it sure smell delicious.

I love the looks of The Spice Lab Gourmet Collection. The salts look nice and modern on our counter. The wood rack even includes a small handcrafted spoon.

I have been using the Olive Oil Herb Blend and found that it really adds a unique and tasty spice to almost everything I have paired it with. It is a subtle but flavorful spice. I like it a lot.

A great choice for my Roasted Pork Loin.

Ingredients:
2 pound Pork Loin
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons of Olive Oil Herb Blend
1/2 cup white wine
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.

Crush garlic with Olive Oil Herb Blend, salt and pepper, making a paste. Pierce meat with a sharp knife in several places and press the garlic paste into the openings. Rub the meat with the remaining garlic mixture.

Place pork loin into oven, turning once at 30 minutes. Cook until the pork is no longer pink in the center, about 1 hour. Center should read 145 degrees F (63 degrees C). Remove roast to a platter. Heat the wine in the pan and stir to loosen browned bits of food on the bottom. Serve with pan juices.
