3 Reasons To See Despicable Me 3 & Free Activity Sheets #DespicableMe3 #ad

This post is in partnership with Universal Pictures

llumination, who brought moviegoers Despicable Me and the biggest animated hits of 2013 and 2015, Despicable Me 2 and Minions, continues the story of Gru, Lucy, their adorable daughters—Margo, Edith and Agnes—and the Minions in Despicable Me 3.

After he is fired from the Anti-Villain League for failing to take down the latest bad guy to threaten humanity, Gru finds himself in the midst of a major identity crisis. But when a mysterious stranger shows up to inform Gru that he has a long-lost twin brother—a brother who desperately wishes to follow in his twin’s despicable footsteps—one former super-villain will rediscover just how good it feels to be bad.

I recently received a box of swag, and an invite to take our girls to dinner and to an advanced screening of Despicable Me 3, courtesy of Universal Pictures. It was a really fun evening.

The movie is really fun, and totally family friendly. If you enjoyed the first two Despicable Me movies, you are going to love this one.

I asked the girls to pick their favorite reason why other families show see the movie. Below are their answers.

  1. Gru has a brother! The girls love that they are twins and so funny together.
  2. The minions. They are hilarious and so cute.
  3. The music. All of us really enjoyed the fun 80’s music in this movie. I’m planning to purchase the soundtrack so we can all sing along with it.

Celebrate this new fun family release with these free Despicable Me 3 activity sheets.

So I saw DM3 yesterday with a friend – I liked it but didn’t love it. The soundtrack was great, though. It needs more minions :).

I just took my kids, my sister, my best friend and her daughter to see it yesterday! We loved it! Agnes is my favorite character.

  4. We LOVED this movie! I loved all of the 80’s references, and we’ve been jamming out to the CD on Amazon Music. I highly recommend.

  5. I saw Minions for the first time the other day and thought that it was pretty good. I think I might have to see part one and part two though before I head to the movies to see this; thought I think they might make it in a way that I won’t really miss much if I do not but, I need to get all caught up.

  6. We saw this movie on Friday night for a family night out. It was so much fun. The kids just laughed and laughed. Love movies like that. The minions in jail suits were so cute!

  7. I am so embarrassed to admit that I have never seen a Despicable Me movie! They look so funny and I just love their ‘Happy’ song. When it comes out on DVD I am going to make it a point to go see it.

  8. I still haven’t seen any of the Minions movies! I know, I know, I’m way behind the times. Do I need to start with the first one, or can I jump into the new one without any background?

  9. I took my grandson yesterday to an afternoon matinee and we had the best time. The minions are absolutely adorable, especially in their overalls. Now every time I take him to Target, we end up with a minion something in our cart! I can’t wait to print off the activity sheets. Here’s hoping that it keeps him busy for a few hours. x
