Most of us include improving our budget when listing our new years resolutions, but what if you’re in the market for a new car? Well, you might want to consider the 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage. The 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage is the most gas efficient non hybrid car on the market today, as well as the most affordable at around $12,995.
I recently had the pleasure of driving the 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage for a week to review. A week that included five days of driving to and from the office (23 miles each way), several trips to the store, driving our teenage daughter and her friends around, and a weekend trip to Ohio, from Michigan to experience some awesome Halloween themed fun at Cedar Point. And, I did most of this on ONE tank of gas. Amazing!
The 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage is a sporty little car. It’s really fun to drive. I was able to zip through my errands in no time. I love that this car fit’s into smaller parking spots, yet offers plenty of cargo space for shopping bags. It might not look like it, but that little back hatch holds a lot.
I’m a big fan of the Mitsubishi Multi Entertainment System (MMES) with navigation. This system features a 7-inch touchscreen that allows control of the navigation feature and the many entertainment options, as well as several vehicle functions, such as the handy rearview camera. All of which helps to keep my eyes on the road, and my ride much safer.
The 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage is a great value without much sacrifice. It’s loaded with the same Mitsubishi style and quality that you’ll find in a higher priced vehicle.
A few of my favorite features:
37/44 MPG combined* City/Hwy
Advanced climate control system
6-way adjustable driver’s seat
One touch start/stop, and FAST-Key system
MMES Navigation system with rearview camera
Bluetooth® hands free phone system
Leather-wrapped steering wheel
Power side-view mirrors
7 standard airbags including drivers knee airbag

I really enjoyed driving this car. It’s a very fun ride. Priced low with excellent gas mileage, it’s a great way to save money as we move into the new year. The front seats are very comfortable and offer a lot more leg room than it appears from the outside. But, I would not recommend it for a family larger than three. I noticed a big change in the car’s power, and gas mileage when I drove with two adults in the front, and three teens in the back. It was also a bit noise at times when full.
