If you have been following my blog for any real amount of time, then you already know we’re big fan’s of the Disney Buddies movie franchise. There is just something about those talking, adorable pups they we simply can’t resist.

Cowboy Bootcamp, The Lone Ranger On-set Featurette #LoneRanger

Check out this cool behind the scenes look featuring an interview with The Lone Ranger himself, Armie Hammer.

From producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski, the filmmaking team behind the blockbuster “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, comes Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ “The Lone Ranger,” a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice–taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.

“The Lone Ranger” also stars Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter.

A Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer Films presentation, “The Lone Ranger” is directed by Gore Verbinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Gore Verbinski, with screen story by Ted Elliott & Terry Rossio and Justin Haythe and screenplay by Justin Haythe and Ted Elliott & Terry Rossio. “The Lone Ranger” releases in U.S. theaters on July 3, 2013.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s Wizard of Dizz! Review & Giveaway

I recently received a copy of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s Wizard of Dizz! on DVD to review.

On June 11th journey to a wondrous land of enchantment and surprises when a classic tale gets a brand- new twist in a full-length adventure that follows Minnie Mouse and the rest of the Clubhouse pals as they visit the strange and wonderful world of “Dizz” in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s The Wizard Of Dizz!

Overflowing with music and laughter – plus two extra “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” episodes, ten bonus Minnie’s Bow-Toons and a FREE download of the Minnie Bow Maker digital book app – this song-filled celebration of fun and friendship proves there’s no place like the Clubhouse!

To celebrate this fun release, I spent an entire Mickey & Minnie theme evening with my granddaughter. Mickey Mouse spoon, and Minnie Mouse pretty pink cup with dessert, followed by a fun bubble bath and pink Minnie Mouse pj’s before movie time.

Now, as Mickey Mouse Clubhouse fans, we knew before we even started this DVD that it was going to be a lot of fun. In-fact Becca was singing the “Hot Diggidy-Dog” song before I had the plastic wrap pealed off of the case.

Filled with adventure, fun music, and a lot of giggles, Minnie’s Wizard of Dizz! did not disappoint. We watched and laughed together from beginning, through the end. I asked Becca about her favorite part of the movie. She was quick to answer, the sparkly shoes. In her opinion Minnie should wear them everyday. She also pointed out her love for Donald looking like the lion from the Wizzard of Oz. I think we have re-watched that part of the DVD three times already.

I really appreciated the DVD, including the two Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episodes being full feature length. It just gave us that much more snuggle time together on the couch. Those are memory making moments this grandma will take, anytime she can get them.

I recently received a copy of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Quest for the Real Crystal Mickey on DVD to review with my granddaughter. It just so happen to be delivered on a day she was over for a visit. Watching her open the UPS package, and sequel with excitement just added to the whole experience.

The movie is an impressive two hours long, unlike some of the other kids T.V. on DVD programs we have purchased. This made for some nice snuggle time in our pj’s before bed.

Being a fan of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and my memories of these characters back when I was young, made this DVD really enjoyable for us to watch together.

The five episodes are a lot of fun. Adventure filled, with plenty of laugh out-loud moments in typical Disney style. Becca did a lot of talking to the screen while watching the first half an hour. I love that she was not only being entertained, but the story had her problem solving too. Though there is no doubt that Mickey is the star of the show, both my granddaughter and I ended up choosing “Goofy’s Giant Adventure” as our favorite selection on the DVD. I guess we both have a soft spot for Goofy.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Quest for the Crystal Mickey will be available online and in-stores where Disney DVD’s are sold on May 21st, 2013! With a retail suggested price of $19.99US/$24.99 CDN.
