To stage a telethon and raise the $10 million needed to save the studio, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate.

All the little girls in our family just adore Tinker Bell, making the announcement and trailer to the upcoming “Secret of the Wings,” very exciting for us.

I have good news, and then I have more good news! First, spring and all of it’s beautiful warm weather is back, and the even more good news, so are The Muppets!

My thoughts:

The Muppets and me – we go way back. I’ve been a fan since the beginning, so when I heard about a new movie being made I couldn’t wait for it to come out. I just love the thought of my girls enjoying some of the same charters I did years ago. I have to admit, I was a bit worried that today’s version of The Muppets might not live up to The Muppets I once knew and loved. Boy, was I wrong! This movie has all the fun songs, laugh out-loud moments and adorable characters as I remember of The Muppets. The Muppets has been a great addition to our home collection, as it’s been watched several times already and enjoyed by the whole family. Not only do we enjoy the movie, but the Blu-ray extras get an awful lot of play. The gag reel takes me back to The Muppet Show days. I highly recommend The Muppets for anyone looking for a fun, upbeat family movie. Also, anyone who enjoyed The Muppets back in the day as I did, picking up this release is a must. You wont regret it.

Disney On Ice Presents Treasure Trove

My sister and I recently took our girls out for an afternoon of fun that included a performance of Disney On Ice Presents Treasure Trove.

We can always count on Disney to offer toys, snacks and fun souvenirs at each live show. Our girls loved their light up princess wands!

The show it’s self was a lot of fun. Featuring The Incredibles, Alice in Wonderland, The Lion King, Tangled, and plenty other Disney favorites. Though, I found the first half much more slow moving than the second, our girls seemed to enjoy the entire show just the same. Excited to be waving and dancing along with their favorite characters, and Disney songs. They had a blast!

If you have not yet experienced Disney On Ice, it is a must. Trust me, it is an experience you will never forget. Each Disney performance is truly magical.
