New #GriddleMelts @ IHOP Review & #Giveaway

IHOP_Logo-1.jpg

Going out for Sunday brunch! I love it! Time spent with my family, talking, and laughing, with-out all the cooking and kitchen clean up. This has to be one of my favorite things.

index

Last Sunday my family and I went to IHOP to check out their new Griddle Melts. A variety of hearty egg sandwiches, perfect for breakfast or lunch.

Griddle Melt varieties include:

  • Spinach, Roasted Pepper & Cheese Sautéed fresh spinach in a fluffy egg omelet topped with roasted red peppers and onions, melted Provolone, Parmesan and Pepper Jack cheeses on grilled artisan sourdough bread. Served with your choice of hash browns, French fries or seasonal fruit.
  • Western Smoked ham and sautéed peppers and onions in a classic omelet, topped with sliced ham, melted American cheese and served on grilled artisan sourdough bread. Served with your choice of hash browns, French fries or seasonal fruit.
  • Ham & Egg MeltSliced ham and melted Swiss and American cheeses over a fluffy egg omelet served on grilled artisan sourdough bread. Served with your choice of hash browns, French fries or seasonal fruit.

With choices like that – it can be hard to chose!

I chose the Spinach, Roasted Pepper & Cheese minus the Peppers, and it was delicious! This was my first time eating at IHOP, and not ordering pancakes. Their fries are surprisingly good, and went perfect with my sandwich. A brunch I can easily see me ordering again.

Dairy Queen, Fun Treats for The Whole Family. So Good It’s RiDQulous #Giveaway!

This giveaway is now closed.

Did you know that DQ® operators have been providing consumers with delicious treats and food since 1940? Yep, a Father and Son partnership spun a 10-cent sale of a then unnamed product on August 4, 1938, in Kankakee, Illinois. Today, the DQ® system is one of the largest fast food systems in the world, with more than 6,000 restaurants in the United States, Canada and 18 other countries. Visit the DairyQueen.com About Us Page for plenty more on their successful story.

We are huge DQ fans around here! My husband and I walk there often with our kids. Even Roxy (our basset hound) knows she is in for something special when we head to Dairy Queen. Pup Cup is cup of vanilla ice cream with a crunchy MilkBone in the center, and is a regular menu item. Our Roxy has enjoyed several Pup Cups in her day, but every now and then we mix it up and order her a cone of her own. Today was one of those days!

We tend to visit DQ for their treats, but did you know they also have a pretty full menu? You can check it out here.

Wither you stop in for a juicy burger and an order of fries, or treats for the whole family, DQ items are So Good It’s RiDQulous!
