2. Spent an evening out with my thirteen year old daughter. Shopping, dinner and the hair salon.
3. Made plans with an old friend.
4. Drove my daughter and her friend to their eighth grade farewell dance.
(next year HIGH SCHOOL! How’d that happen?)
5. Had dinner off the grill for the first time this season.Yum!
6. Went to Motor City Comic Con (total geekville, it was awesome).
7. Enjoyed a movie with my sister and step mom.
Seven things I’ve done over the past seven days.
1. Bought two items on eBay.
2. Was not happy with how one of my favorite shows ended their season.

3. Started spring cleaning.
4. Donated a trunk load of items, and have more to go.
5. Turned another year older. Sigh, they just keep on coming.
6. Enjoyed Star Wars Day & Free Comic Book Day with my girls. My older daughter is a big Star Wars fan, my younger a big comic book nerd. It was a fun day!
7. Let our thirteen year old daughter invite ten friends over to hang out around the fire pit. They’re good kids, so it went much better than it sounds.

1. Tried a new recipe and loved it. (Pork roast)
2. Won concert tickets on the radio. (Matchbox 20 & Goo Goo Dolls)
3. Won a blog giveaway. (Home Run movie prize pack)
4. Bought two items on eBay. (Phone case & book for my daughter)
5. Signed a new blogging contract that I’m excited, proud and nervous about.
6. Stayed up late to watch a classic chick-flick with my teenage daughter.(Dirty Dancing)
7. Starting reading a new book. (Live By Night, by Dennis Lehane)
Seven things I’ve done over the past seven days.
1. Was awake most of the night because my dog was afraid of a storm and crying.
2. Watched the season finale of Southland. Holding my breath that it returns.
3. Sold two items on eBay.
4. Finally saw the movie The Unforgivable.
5. Enjoyed attending a book signing at the D.I.A. with my sister.
We met Elizabeth Gilbert & Rayya Elias.
6. Put a roast in the slow-cooker, and then forgot to turn it on before leaving for work. (I’m on a roll, see last week’s 7Things)
7. Had to cancel brunch and a movie plans with a friend, and felt bad about it.

1. Lost control of my inbox again. (it’s back to over 100)
2. Started watching House of Cards on Netflix. (Great show)
3. Sold an item on eBay.
4. Filled three boxes with donations.
5. Cursed at my day job while struggling to balance the month.
6. Had my granddaughter over for a sleepover.
7. Enjoyed a make your own pizza night with the kids.

3. Spent a nice evening with my granddaughter.
4. Attended a movie screening for Safe Haven
5. Spent a fun weekend in Sandusky, OH with my daughters.
