It’s that time of year again! With spring, comes “spring cleaning”. I have a real love/ hate relationship with spring. I love the nice warm temps, and I even enjoy the cleaning, it’s just finding the time within my schedule to get it going that I have trouble with each year. I tend to drag my feet, but once I get going, it’s all I want to do, and I don’t stop until it’s done. Not until every floor, baseboard, and closet has been cleaned. Then comes the payoff – the sense of accomplishment when it’s finished! That’s the best.
This year while spring cleaning I had the opportunity to try out a couple of new products. A Heavy-Duty Multi-Surface Cleaner, and a Heavy-Duty Degreaser, both are part of the new Dirty Jobs product line.
First, I have to say that these products are not messing around when they say “heavy-duty”. They are packed with muscle! Which, honestly is what I expected with the name “Dirty Jobs” on the label. Being a fan of the show, I know what kind of messes Mike Rowe has been in. The label says “fresh citrus” but it was more of a cleaner scent. Something I’m not use to. I used these products with open windows, and while outside to keep the scent from becoming over powering.
I used the multi-surface cleaner on our baseboards, blinds and fixtures throughout our house. I used the degreaer on the back of our appliances, and several jobs outside, like our trash cans. Both of these Dirty Jobs products did an outstanding job, and helped me finish each task in less than the usual time. I can easily see the degreaser becoming a staple in our garage. It did a great job removing oil and grease from several of my husbands tools.
