Larry The Cable Guy Stars in PSA Promoting Good Oral Health For Children

NATIONAL CHILDREN’S ORAL HEALTH FOUNDATION AND TOOTH FAIRY 2 JOIN IN A FIRST-OF-IT’S KIND PARTNERSHIP TO HELP AT RISK CHILDREN

Larry the Cable Guy and Brady Reiter from the all-new movie Tooth Fairy 2, have joined with National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s ToothFairy® (NCOHF) to help at-risk children receive essential oral health services and education. The duo created a Public Service Announcment (PSA) which teaches children the importance of good oral health care. Dental health professionals from across the country will get the exclusive first look of the PSA when it debuts at the America’s ToothFairy Celebration of Smiles event February 23, 2012 at the Chicago Hyatt Regency-McCormick Place.

Larry the Cable Guy will have a special message for all in attendance, with his co-star Brady making a guest appearance to launch the America’s ToothFairy Kids Club.

“We are thrilled to partner with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and Tooth Fairy 2 stars Larry and Brady, to promote children’s oral health,” stated Fern Ingber, MEd, NCOHF President and CEO. “How wonderful to have Brady at the Celebration of Smiles to launch the America’s ToothFairy Kids Club, which will provide fun, quarterly activities and Tips from the ToothFairy to encourage positive oral health behaviors.”

National Children’s Oral Health Foundation: America’s ToothFairy was formed in 2006 in an aggressive response to eliminate pediatric dental disease by providing community programs with the comprehensive resoures to deliver vital educational, preventive, and treatment services to children of the most vulnerable populations. NCOHF has delivered nearly $10 million in direct funding, donated dental products and educational resources to its non-profit Affiliate network and community programs throughout North American reaching millions of children with oral health services.

Larry Guthrie (Larry the Cable Guy) is a fun-loving dreamer with a serious mission: win back the love of his life before she makes a terrible mistake and marries the wrong man! In his attempt to get back on his long lost love’s good side, Larry visits the school where she works and make’s a horrible mistake… He accidentally tells a child that the Tooth Fairy is just a myth. Crushing the child’s dreams sets off a chain of events that are far more than Larry bargained for including being “sentenced” to become a Tooth Fairy or face having his memories erased for good…PLUS losing any chance of getting back the girl of his dreams! Larry is brought before a 500-year-old Tooth Fairy stuck in a 10-year-old girl’s body (played by newcomer Brady Reiter) for sentencing. The Tooth Fairy demands that Larry make retribution by temporarily serving as a Tooth Fairy and proving that Tooth Fairies really do exist. His mission? Larry must collect 20 teeth in 20 days. With his orders in hand, Larry embarks on a journey to prove the existence of Tooth Fairies and to win back the love of his life.

On March 20th Disney releases THE MUPPETS on Blu-ray & DVD! Jason Segel and Amy Adams join the eclectic troupe of misfits to save Muppet Studios from being demolished by an evil oil tycoon. Kermit, Piggy, and the whole gang are back! Little Angels Set of 3 DVDs Review & Giveaway

LITTLE ANGELS is an animated DVD series created exclusively for preschool-aged children to teach not only practical learning skills, like ABCs and numbers, but also to introduce them to the spiritual, moral and ethical principles in the Bible.

Pre-school twins Alex and Zoe are blessed to have eight Little Angels watching over them – literally! These Little Angels live on the ceiling of their bedroom, painted there so they are the first things the kids see when they wake up in the morning and the last thing they see before they fall asleep at night. The angels come to life when the children need them most, helping guide them through the challenges of their young lives.

These DVD’s and the Little Angels’ Awesome Peanut Butter & Jelly Popcorn are a huge hit with my 4-year old granddaughter. I was also impressed with the Little Angels DVD’s and how they were able to incorporate fun with real life lessons along with positive learning and education.Not an easy task when there are so many entertainment options for kids these days that simply focus on being silly

Each Little Angel has has their own big personality. Hayley is definitely my favorite. She knows everything there is to know about animals, and loves sharing . Each Little Angel are adorable in their own way. My granddaughter doesn’t seem to have a favorite. But when it comes to watching the DVD’s – it’s Little Angels, 123 that takes first place for her.

Lady and The Tramp – Puppy Love

Lady and The Tramp was named number 95 out of the “100 Greatest Love Stories of All Time” by the American Film Institute in their 100 Years…100 Passions special, as one of only two animated films to appear on the list, along with Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (which ranked 34th).

In honor of Valentine’s Day Walt Disney Studios released the following video clip of real dogs re-enacting the famous spaghetti dinner scene in the film. You can enjoy it below.

With the unusually warm, wet and then cold again weather we’ve been experiencing here in Michigan this winter, every family I know has been fighting off colds. Ours included. Lady and the Tramp Diamond Edition Blu-ray + DVD Review

A classic love story about dogs from the opposite side of the tracks coming together to realize that they have more in common than they ever realized. It’s an adorable movie and just perfect for the whole family to enjoy for Valentines Day.

I recently had the pleasure of viewing Lady and The Tramp Diamond Edition with my girls. It was a great way to spend an evening together. Lady and The Tramp has been on my list of favorite Disney movies for years, so it was a lot of fun for me to introduce to my granddaughter. With so many exciting movies available to kids these days, I wasn’t so sure how such a sweet classic was going to measure up with my girls. I was so pleasantly surprised! They enjoyed the movie just as much, if not more than I did. I still enjoy all the twists and turns as this adorable love story unfolds. Our evening together was filled with giggles, unsure moments, and smiles as we enjoyed watching the movie. Being Disney fans and also dog lovers, this one is a great addition to our home collection. I definitely see us watching it again and again.

We also really enjoyed all the movie’s bonus features. The never-before-seen deleted scenes were a lot of fun and kept us talking about the story long after the movie was over. The Disney second screen: Inside Walt’s Story Meetings was really interesting. I’ve never used second screen before, and will definitely be looking for it on future releases. These features just amaze me!

Lady and the Tramp was re-released for a limited time from the Disney vault and is available on Disney’s prestigious Diamond Collection as of February 7, 2012! You can find it where Disney movies are sold.
