Roxy is in-love with the new Milo’s Kitchen Chicken Jerky . Honestly, what’s not to love? Made with 100% jerky, and no artificial flavors or fillers. They smell and look great!
Bringing home all of Roxy’s favorite treats, like delicious Pup-Peroni is just one way we enjoy showing her how much she’s loved. I like to think she knows how lucky she is to be in her forever home.
Knowing not all dogs are as lucky as Roxy, I recently shopped Walmart to create this fun basket of useful puppy products to donate to our local shelter. Complete with yummy Milk-Bone® Puppy Treats.
We took the time to walk through and visit with the dogs. There are just so many in- need! Below is my daughter having a serious pep-talk with a handsome guy that will hopefully be on his way home soon.
I’d like the thank the awesome workers at The Dearborn Animal Shelter (photoed above) for welcoming our visit and seeing that our donation is put to good use. It’s nice to know that with so many animals in-need there are special people like you to help brighten their day!

Oh no, Roxy, it looks like your treat cabinet is a little empty.
Don’t look so worried! Mom’s on it! I’ll whip-up a list of treats for the whole family and make a trip to Walmart. I’m also taking with me a list of puppy items we can donate to our local animal shelter. Donating a doggie gift basket will be a great way to start the new year!
Walmart makes it easy to shop for everyone at one location. I just need to remind myself to stick to the list as I walk past all these fun temptations -

While filling the cart with Roxy’s favorites I found some great donation items for our doggie gift basket! Milk-Bone® Puppy, a collar and leash set, puppy shampoo, puppy toys, dishes, and a doggie blanket. Also, probably the most important of puppy items – carpet stain and odor remover! I think I forgot how fun it is to shop for a puppy.
As I headed to the check-out I found my cart collected all kinds of goodies for the whole family. Honestly, sticking to the list is over overrated! I found some great after Christmas deals!
Thank you Walmart cashier “Karen” for making my check-out experience quick, easy and super friendly. It’s happy and helpful employees, like yourself that keep my family coming back.
