Is your family ready for summer? I know our daughter is excited, but often starts to struggle with ways to keep busy about halfway through the summer. Just because she has the time off, sure doesn’t mean we do. If you are a local Michigan family with children in grades 2-9, you might what to checkout the Pistons Academy Summer Camp. Looks like a great way to keep kids active and having fun over the summer.
Beginning Monday, June 15 at Seaholm High School in Birmingham, MI. The camp tour will visit 14 Metro Detroit locations over 11 weeks ending August 28.
Pistons Academy youth basketball camps are available for boys and girls entering grades 2-9. Each session is limited to the first 140 participants. Each day will consist of professional instruction and fundamental work during the morning hours followed by full court games and contests in the afternoon. All youngsters participating will receive an exclusive Pistons Academy tee, a personalized skill-evaluation report card, a complimentary ticket to a 2015-16 Detroit Pistons home game, along with visits by Detroit Pistons’ personalities. All campers will have an opportunity to win awards at the completion of each camp day.
Seems to me that this would be an amazing experience for any kids, that it would not only help keep them active, but also really build some self confidence, and sportsmanship.
