I recently received advanced copies of these titles to enjoy and review with my girls. We made a fun day and night of it by having a Disney Blu-Ray Marathon together. Complete with pizza for dinner (kids choice), PJ’s and sweet Kennel corn popcorn later for dessert.
We started our Disney Blu-Ray marathon early in the day with two movies we hadn’t seen yet – POCAHONTAS & POCAHONTAS II: Journey to a New World (2 Movie Collection). Both movies were very good. Filled with action, adventure and beautifully drawn characters. Entertaining for the girls, and myself. Though in my opinion the first was much better than the second. We watched THE RESCUERS & THE RESCUERS DOWN UNDER next over lunch. The first movie brought back fun memories of my older daughter when she was young. It was one of her favorite books. I had forgotten how funny those Rescuers are. THE ARISTOCATS were up next, and filled with great charterers and fun music it instantly became one of my granddaughter’s favorites. My favorite of the bunch is LADY AND THE TRAMP II: Scamp’s Adventure. Being a dog lover, I can never get enough of those cute pups or their adventures. Then past our bed time, we snugged up, in our PJ’s and watched THE TIGGER MOVIE. Well, I watched it! Tigger and his adventurous personality has always been one of my favorite childhood memories to share with my girls. Even though the movie is a lot of fun, both girls fell fast asleep about half way through. They were happy to finish the movie over breakfast the next morning. It may have been a bit extreme to have a full day movie marathon, but some pretty good memories were made that day. Memories of closeness and happiness that will last a lifetime.
