Not long ago, my daughter and her fiance said their i-dos.
It was a simple but sweet ceremony. Filled with family and good friends.
That evening the happy couple headed to Ohio for a romantic weekend at the beautiful Sawmill Creek Resort.
Sawmill Creek is a beautiful lakefront resort that includes a marina, three restaurants, shops, and pools to unwind in. Nestled on the shores of Lake Erie, the 240 room Lodge also features an exciting 18-hole Tom Fazio Golf course!
Right from check -in they were treated to only the best accommodations – a beautiful jacuzzi fireplace suite, that included a few personal touches like a nice bottle of wine and gourmet chocolates to help celebrate their big day!
The couple had nothing but great things to say about their stay. Complimenting the beautiful suite and the friendly staff that went out of their way to make sure the visit was perfect. To quote my daughter, “it was a honeymoon to be remembered”! They both say they are looking forward to returning someday to celebrate an anniversary.
If you follow Five Dollar Shake on Facebook or Twitter, you must likely have seen, and heard plenty of fun updates during their stay. My daughter couldn’t help but tweet about the nice and relaxing atmosphere inside and surrounding the Sawmill Creek Resort. From their beautiful indoor waterfall, and meeting place, to the stunning culture throughout the resort, there are surprises around every corner.
Whether you’re in need a fun family vacation, or a romantic Valentine hideaway Sawmill Creek has you covered! Just check-out their list of on going specials and packages.
