A couple weeks ago I shared my experience with a new game, TENZI. With a suggested retail price of under $15.00, TENZI makes a great gift. The best way to buy it is to find it in your local store so that you’re able to pick out the dice in the color combination that appeals to you. I actually bought mine at my local Hallmark store.
Now, along comes a companion game for TENZI, called 77 Ways to play TENZI. I cannot think of another game that has had a new game created to enhance the enjoyment of it.
I received a copy of 77 Ways to play TENZI and couldn’t wait to try it out, although I can honestly say that I was more than leery, I couldn’t imagine making the original game anymore fun. I envisioned a bunch of nonsensical approaches to the game, the game that I found so fun and entertaining. However, after playing for two hours with my niece and her mom, I can say that I was most pleasantly surprised and delighted.
We were hooked from the first card that we turned over. The set comes with 77 cards, 3 that are blank in order to make up your own, new, take on the game, and 74 new revisions of the original. We had an absolute blast enjoying the various takes on our new, favorite game! After two hours, I couldn’t believe that we had actually gone through all but three of the new ways to play, those three just didn’t appeal to us. Not only that, we had actually played some of the games 2-4 times since we enjoyed them so much. I found it amazing how fast the time flew and how much we were belly-laughing while playing. We really had a ball with it and cannot wait to play again!
