Just a few months ago my granddaughter became the “biggest” Littlest Pet Shop fan. It seemed to happen over night. Just this massive explosion of cuteness – from toys to dvds. I recently received The Littlest Pet Shop: Sweetest Pets on DVD to review. Boy, was she excited to help me!
The Littlest Pet Shop: Sweetest Pets is available now on DVD, from Shout! Factory Kids, and life in The Littlest Pet Shop couldn’t be sweeter!
When Blythe Baxter moved into the city with her father, she never expected to move into the apartment above the Littlest Pet Shop. But an even bigger surprise awaited her. Blythe can talk to the pets…and they can talk back! On June 4, 2013, Shout! Factory Kids, in collaboration with Hasbro Studios, released Littlest Pet Shop: Sweetest Pets on DVD. Join Blythe as she embarks on five more wild adventures with her newest friends: Pepper, the hilarious skunk; Sunil, the magical mongoose; Penny, the adorable panda; Russell, the highly organized hedgehog; Zoe, the diva Spaniel; and, of course, Minka, the artistic monkey!
We really enjoyed watching this movie with Becca. Being able to communicate with pets has to be at the top of must kids imagination list. Heck, there are times even now that I wish I could explain things to our basset hound, or just hear what she’s thinking. The Littlest Pet Shop: Sweetest Pets is filled with family friendly adventures, and lessons, along with some pretty dry humor. Making it a hit with the whole family. It’s become a fast favorite around here, and one we’re happy to have in our home library. As I see it being played again very soon. I also should point out that the original music during this DVD is fantastic. Very impressive.
Below is a clip of one of our favorite episodes on this DVD “Star Trek Pets”.
Littlest Pet Shop currently airs on The Hub TV Network in the US. It is also available to purchase wherever Shout! Factory Kids movies are sold.
Disclosure: I received a free The Littlest Pet Shop: Sweetest Pets DVD for the purpose of this blog post. I was not asked to write a positive review. Opinions expressed are my own and honest.
