My older daughter was a real fan of The Wild Thornberrys when the show originally aired. Now thanks to the recent dvd release, my younger daughter has the chance to enjoy the creative show as well. Both of my daughters have had an active and wild imagination right from the start. I love a family show that helps to bring that out. This show did just that. Another aspect that really stands out to me is the unique way of bringing environmental and animal issues into their stories. We enjoy the entire Thornberry family of characters but, I think Eliza Thornberry, the young, energetic lead, has got to be my favorite. I love her bright red braids, braces, and backpack filled with supplies and the fact she is always ready to take on any adventure. No matter where they take her. Watching these episodes again for the second time sure brings back fun memories.
