When I was recently asked to review Crystal Head vodka and Cupcake Vodka, I jumped at the chance. A fun review for the grown ups! Nothing wrong with that.
The day my samples were delivered I instantly feel in love with the fun packaging. Pretty blue bottles of Cupcake Vodka, and very cool and very unique Skull shaped bottles of Crystal Head. Perfect for a his and her gift. Or in this case, his and her celebration of National Vodka Day.
We celebrated with a nice evening alone, dinner, cards, music, and of course a couple of cocktails. We had a great time. In fact some of my favorite “date nights” with my husband over the years have been spent without ever leaving the house. No need to overspend on a restaurant, or an expensive cab ride home if we want to enjoy a couple of drinks. It’s really each others company that we enjoy the most.
Feeling festive to the time of year and cool fall weather, my husband enjoyed a glass of The Skulled Cider (made with Crystal Head Vodka) while we played cards, and I mixed a Cheetah Print (made with Cupcake Frosting Vodka). Both cocktails were delicious! You’ll find these recipes, along with two other festive cocktails below.
