Based on health suggestions on how much water an individual should drink, an average family of four should drink up to 64 ounces per day per person, which is about 2 gallons for the household. This equates to 16 – 16-ounce plastic water bottles. That is one huge case of water from Costco EACH DAY! While bottled water isn’t necessarily expensive, it does add up! So why not save some money and provide your family clean water! What is more, a study recently found that 93% of bottled water that was tested contained microplastics which is twice the amount found in tap water. ZeroWater not only removes microplastics from bottled water and tap water but also is NSF certified to reduce both lead and chromium.
I recently received a ZeroWater’s 30 Cup Ready-Pour Dispenser to review here on my blog.
It was delivered just weeks before our yearly scheduled camping trip. I thought this was perfect timing, as we have a bad habit of drinking a lot of bottled water while tent camping. Then I went and broke my ankle and separated a tendon. I was instructed by the orthopedic surgeon to keep my casted ankle above my heart for as many hours of the day as possible and to put absolutely no weight on it for three to four weeks. This turned out to be a lot harder than I expected. It also meant missing our family camping trip. So, before my husband and daughter left for the campground I chose my most comfortable spot in the living room and put all of the important supplies on the table near by; tissues, reading material, television remotes, cell phone charger, snacks and our new ZeroWater’s 30 Cup Ready-Pour Dispenser. I’m now in my last week of elevation, I do have a little mobility with the use of crutches, but it sure isn’t easy and I am still unable to carry anything from one room to another, not even a glass of water. Knowing that staying hydrated is an important part of my recovery the dispenser has been a real life saver. It is super easy to use and the water taste great.
I like knowing that my water goes through a 5-Stage filtration system that is Certified to Reduce Lead and 99.6% of all dissolved solids. The One-handed push to dispense spout really is easy to use. I reach over to fill my glass several times a day without having to leave my seat, without any struggles, which is pretty great these days.
