This post is partnered with Pressman Toy and Goliath Games.
Does your family enjoy board games? My family sure does! We have been playing board games for as long as I can remember. It’s a great way to spend time together and get in some laughs. It is definitely one of my favorite ways to spend time with family and friends. So, when I was asked to feature several board games from Pressman Toy, Goliath Games here on my blog, I jumped at it.
My first package included the above three games:
Harry Potter and the Tri-Wizard Maze (Pressman)
Muggles and wizards alike will be enchanted by Harry Potter and the Tri-Wizard Maze! This Tri-Wizard challenge features fast-action Pop’N’Race play as players race around the Tri-Wizard Maze to capture the Tri-Wizard Cup. Designed for 2 to 4 players, ages 5 and up.
Harry Potter and the Magical Beasts Game (Pressman)
Calling all Wizards! Magical beasts have broken loose at Hogwarts in Harry Potter and the Magical Beasts Game. In this action-packed game, players collect clues and track down magical beasts both in and out of Hogwarts by traveling through magical portals. The dynamic swinging game board adds excitement that leads to hours of fun. Designed for 2 to 4 players, ages 8 and up.
Stuff Happens! (Goliath)
Giggle your way through a gaggle of disasters with Stuff Happens! Each event card is ranked from 0-100 according to the Misery Index. What’s worse? Third degree sunburn or seeing your father naked? The player who most accurately guesses, keeps the card. Be the first player to collect 10 cards to win. Designed for 2 or more players, ages 13 and up.
Harry Potter and the Tri-Wizard Maze has been a hit with our family. It’s an ageless concept that even our four year old granddaughter enjoys, as well as our nineteen year old daughter and her friends. I love these teens that enjoy staying home and playing card and board games. A regular occurrence here at our house.
Harry Potter and the Magical Beasts Game takes you right into the Harry Potter world. It is a little bit more of a thinking game earning it’s 8+ rating. This game makes for a great find or gift for any Harry Potter fan. The kids have told me it is a lot of fun. A great addition in our house. Anytime I can mix my love for movies and board games is good for me.
Stuff Happens is a really fun game for the whole family. It’s easy to play and it moves really quick. So far, I have played this game with our eleven year old granddaughter and with a group of family members, both times were filled with a whole lot of laughs. My only issue with this game is that several of us have highly disagreed with the misery index ranking on several cards. I also feel the need to mention that the images on the cards are sometimes more laugh provoking than the action description. So funny! Stuff Happens! is a hit with us and I see plenty of hilarious and painful games in our future. Note, there is also an adult version of the game that I hope to review here soon.
